thanksgiving...

i dont have very much time right now, cuz i have loads of homework to do, but i thought i would post some pictures from the break. me and tj went to sherry and troys in lafayette. im not really sure why im writing this out since the only people who look at this are family members but anyways.... i had a great time. and we got to help them move into their house/church. which looks amazing. i was just really glad we could be there to help so that sherry had someone from her side of the family there. they didnt work us too hard, and took very good care of us. i absolutely love going to visit them. and next semester im gonna take a big group of friends down...hee hee..they dont know that yet...im just kidding. its so nice to have some family close. anyways, its off to do homework for me. heres some pictures from the weekend.

mini high school reunion...

two weeks ago or something like that..november 11ish....my friend amanda came up for the weekend. i got to spend quite a bit of time with her and it was great to catch up. most of our graduating class was there at different times. there were only like 6 of us so it wasnt that hard. anyways, heres some pictures from that saturday nite.

it is definitely no longer a factor of global warming. yesterday morning it started snowing and it didnt stop all day. they closed campus on a friday nite! actually tj said when he drove somewhere yesterday the roads were the worst he's ever driven on. and hes Canadian!! b/c it isnt that cold yet so the snow doesnt pack and then when it gets driven on then it turns to ice. not good. so yeah, the closed campus. it was kinda nice and cozy though. i went camera happy. and i will share some with you. it really is beautiful out right now. im sure i wont think that in a couple months but thats ok. its a fact of life. we probably got about 2-3 inches. hmm...what else...i have another systematic theology test on monday so i will be studying for that all weekend. i made it through the week. i wasnt sure for a while there. well anyways, thats it for me right now.

global warming at nbbc......

I just want everbody to know that it is almost 50 degrees out this morning and it is supposed to get up to about 60. what in the world?!? its november 7th at northland, and people are walking around in short sleeves! its crazy. but believe me, we are all thoroughly enjoying it. it won't last long, im sure. today is another one of those tuesday mornings when i just wonder why am i out of bed and waiting for the phone to ring? this morning i miraculously woke up at 6:45, which is a very good thing, b/c i guess i turned off my alarm so who knows when i wouldve woken up next. the phone has rang twice and its been the same person. i dont know what they are thinking calling people this early....sheesh...hmmm....what else can i talk about? the end of last week and the beginning of this week has been crazy and will continue to be crazy for at least today and tomorrow. i did homework on friday nite thats how bad its been. i really dont think ive ever done homework on friday nite. and then i did homework all day saturday and still didnt get it all done. but i gave myself a reward for working so hard, i slept for 3 hours on sunday afternoon....hmm...it was wonderful. in 15 sleeps, me and tj will be at sherry and troys for thanksgiving. im so looking forward to the break. once again, lots of sleep. hopefully. i think theres something wrong with me. when i got to work this morning, i was almost sweating i was so hot, now im almost shivering im so cold...weird. i hope im not getting sick again. theres been like this weird flu thing going around. like you get pretty sick for a day or less. well, im gonna end this now......heres a pic of some of my family from this summer. i miss everyone...cant wait till Christmas!

midterms...

first of all heres a picture of what it looked like outside when i came to work a little bit before 5. thats actually exactly what it looked like. very gloomy. but it was nice out today. it was nice and warm out for this time of year. its been a pretty nice fall so im kinda scared to see what the winter will be like. anyways, we got our midterm grades back today. im ok with all of them except for two. systematic theology and old testament wisdom and poetic books. but i have one A+, 2 A's, one B, and a C, and a C+. that sounds kinda elementaryish, but thats the way it is. but get this! the class that is an A+ is Accounting, and I have a 100%!!! woo hoo!! im so excited about that! so thats good. Anyways, im gonna work really hard in those 2 classes to bring them up. im ok with A's and B's. The class i have a B in could actually be brought up so we'll see what its like at the end of the semester. so thats my good news for today. so im still praying about the study tour. the first $100 is due on friday. keep praying with me. i want to go so bad. but i want God's will too. i'll keep you updated. thanks for praying. well, i think im gonna go get started on homework. i love you all. holly
